Capturing Moments with Zekharyah

Some moments deserve more than a quick snapshot. They deserve to be documented as part of a family’s legacy.

Recently, we had the honor of celebrating another major chapter with Zekharyah, a recent graduate of Lipscomb Academy, who will soon begin his next journey at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga this fall.

Zekharyah’s mom, Rasheda reached out to schedule both a prom and graduation session to commemorate this exciting season of life. For our team, this booking carried special meaning because this was not our first time working with their family. In previous years, we photographed his oldest sister’s graduation session as well as a family portrait session last year, making this another meaningful moment we were privileged to capture.

As with every session, we ask our clients if there is a specific vision or story they wanted the images to tell. In both sessions, Zekharyah brought a natural confidence, poise, and calm presence in front of the camera that made each moment feel authentic and effortless.

Now, the prom session became more than a portrait experience. It turned into a celebration surrounded by family who gathered behind the scenes to support Zekharyah while capturing candid photos and videos of their own. Those unscripted moments of encouragement, laughter, and pride often become some of the most meaningful memories.

One of the greatest compliments we can receive as photographers is when families continue to trust us to document multiple milestones throughout their journey. Being invited back to preserve these moments is something we never take for granted.

We would like to congratulate Zekharyah on this incredible accomplishment and wish him continued success as he begins this exciting new chapter.
