Who We Are and What We Do
SEAN and ANGELA PONDER are alumni of Middle Tennessee State University. We are True Blue!
We officially started our photography business in 2011. However, unlike many photographers at that time, Sean did not have a degree in photography. His degree is in Business Management. In full disclosure, Sean is actually a self-taught photographer. The back story is that around 2008, while shooting pictures to post online, people began to take notice of Sean's keen eye for angles. He would hear about his skill so often that he eventually decided to embark on the journey that led him into freelance photography. Since then he has spent countless hours learning and mastering his craft.
From the very beginning, Angela was by his side helping him to build his photography brand. Clients became accustomed to seeing her and interacting with her at every session, receiving phone calls and emails from her and knowing that she was the direct line of contact for the business. It just made perfect sense that it became a team effort. Angela brings to the brand her creative vision and ideas, journalistic writing style, and her inate ability to tell stories through imagery. She also brings her natural skill set and ability to direct sessions and concepts.
As a dynamic husband and wife team we make it a priority to ensure your photographic experience is one you will not soon forget. Following one of our individually-customized collaboration sessions, you will find the results to be beautiful, natural looking portraits. We offer a full spectrum of photography services which include concept-driven imagery, portraits that capture personality, memorable graduation photos and personal branding photos for professionals and businesses.

That's not me!
There’s a story behind this photo taken in 2010. It was one of the very first composite images I ever created. It was not for a client, but for my son. He was disappointed with the individual and team photos taken during his pee wee football season. “That's not me,” he said. And I heard that not just as a parent, but as someone who understands how deeply we all want to feel seen.
So, with an entry-level camera/lens, an outdated version of Photoshop, and a whole lot of heart, we created this image together. It was my first attempt at blending vision with emotion, technique with storytelling. That’s when I realized: Photography isn’t just about taking a good photo, it’s about helping someone feel seen in the way they want to be seen.
Your story deserves to be seen. Ready for portraits or branding images that speak with purpose, personality, and presence? If so, let’s build them together.
